Rich hot chocolate that blows Swiss Miss out of the water!

You Need

  • 1 container of instant nonfat dry milk (approx 9.6oz)
  • 1 1/2 lbs of a good quality dark chocolate - no more than 72% (finely chopped, do not use chocolate chips as they will not melt properly)
  • 1/4 cup of pure unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
  • How To

      To make the mix

      1. Place the chocolate into the bowl of a food processor and pulse to chop it even finer
      2. Add all other ingredients and process for approximately 1-3 minutes until thoroughly blended and finely chopped

      To make the hot chocolate

      1. In a saucepan on the stovetop or in the microwave, add 1/3 cup of mix to 8 ounces of milk (any milk will work) and heat until simmering
      2. Stir constantly to melt the chocolate and blend until smooth
      3. Use more or less mix to taste
      4. add a pinch of cayenne or cinnamon to spice it up!
