These meatballs are tender and flavorful and super easy to make.
You Need
How To
- Heat a jar of good pasta sauce in a large pot or pan with enough space for all of the meatballs.
- Add 2 slices of bread to a bowl and just cover with a splash of milk until barely soggy
- Squish the softened bread into small fine pieces and add the egg.
- Mix to combine with onion, ketchup, water, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Once ingredients are evenly mixed, add in ground meat and mix gently until just combined. Make sure not to overmix.
- Roll meat mixture into golf ball size meatballs.
- Gently lay meatballs in simmering sauce.
- Cover the pot and leave the lid slightly off to allow steam to escape, simmer for 30-40 minutes.
- Test meatball for doneness and enjoy!
