These meatballs are tender and flavorful and super easy to make.

You Need

  • 1lb ground beef/turkey/pork or combination
  • 2 slices of bread (stale is fine)
  • 1 egg
  • Splash of milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • Half of a small onion grated or finely diced
  • 1/8 cup of water
  • Salt/pepper/garlic powder to taste
  • How To

    1. Heat a jar of good pasta sauce in a large pot or pan with enough space for all of the meatballs.
    2. Add 2 slices of bread to a bowl and just cover with a splash of milk until barely soggy
    3. Squish the softened bread into small fine pieces and add the egg.
    4. Mix to combine with onion, ketchup, water, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
    5. Once ingredients are evenly mixed, add in ground meat and mix gently until just combined. Make sure not to overmix.
    6. Roll meat mixture into golf ball size meatballs.
    7. Gently lay meatballs in simmering sauce.
    8. Cover the pot and leave the lid slightly off to allow steam to escape, simmer for 30-40 minutes.
    9. Test meatball for doneness and enjoy!
