Just something simple and delicious that I've made for Thanksgiving!

You Need

1:00
  • 3 medium sized sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup sweetened, condensed milk
  • 3 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • Topping

    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 3/4 stick butter
    • marshmallows (big or small)
  • How To

    1. Peel sweet potatoes and cut into small cubes
    2. Boil cubed sweet potato until soft, then drain the water
    3. Mash the sweet potatoes and mix in all other ingredients (but not the topping!), then put in a casserole dish
    4. Pre-heat the oven to 425 degrees F
    5. Bake the casserole dish in the pre-heated oven for 15 minutes
    6. While the casserole dish is baking, mix well the sugar and butter for the topping
    7. Remove casserole dish from oven and add topping. Place marshmallows on top. Note: don't overstuff marshmallows in there or it might become messy
    8. Reduce oven to 325 degrees and bake for 15 minutes
    9. Enjoy!
