If you have some frozen paratha (I prefer the Kawan brand), some eggs, and optionally some cheese, you are minutes away from a perfect breakfast. Throw in anything you have in the fridge that sounds good, I usually add in some hot sauce and whatever herbs are wilted.

You Need

1 serving
0:08
  • 1 frozen paratha
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 slice American cheese, torn in half
  • (optional) hot sauce
  • (optional) cilantro, parsley, dill, etc.
  • How To

    1. heat up paratha in stove, cooking for about 3 minutes per side until golden and crispy
    2. set aside paratha
    3. whisk up your eggs, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper
    4. cook eggs in pan roughly diameter of paratha, scrambling lightly
    5. while still runny, spread eggs out to fill pan, top with american cheese along the diameter of the eggs
    6. top with cooked paratha, press lightly to secure the still runny egg against the paratha
    7. once egg is cooked, flip the paratha and recrisp that side
    8. add any garnishes such as hot sauce, herbs, etc.
    9. remove from pan, optionally roll it up and enjoy
