Based on the classic Boothby Cocktail (a Manhattan topped with sparkling wine), this version applies the same treatment to my favorite martini approach, the Fifty-Fifty. Light and punchy, this was originally created for The Counting Room in 2011. Proceeds from collecting this recipe will be donated to City Harvest.

You Need

  • 1.0 oz Old Tom Gin
  • 1.0 oz Dolin Dry Vermouth
  • 11 drops Bittermen's Grapefruit Bitters
  • Prosecco
  • Lemon twist, for garnish
  • How To

    1. Add Gin, Dry Vermouth and bitters to mixing glass filled with ice
    2. Stir, and strain into a coupe
    3. Top with Prosecco, and garnish with a lemon twist
