How To
- Line a sheet pan with foil and empty the contents of one bag of marshmallows onto the pan. place pan under your oven's broiler and watch until marshmallows turn a golden brown and start to blacken. Take pan out of oven and set aside.
- Chop the chocolate bar and crush the graham crackers. Keep half of the chocolate and about 3 Tbs of graham cracker crumbs aside.
- In a large pot (I like to use my dutch oven), cook butter over medium heat until it browns.
- Add remaining bag of marshmallows to the pot and stir into the butter until melted. Add in vanilla and salt and stir to combine.
- Into the marshmallow mixture, add the Rice Krispies, half of the dark chocolate, toasted marshmallows, and the larger portion of graham cracker crumbs. Stir well to combine.
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Spoon the mixture into the lined pan. Use wet hands to push the treats into the pan and even out. Let rest until cool.
- Fill a small saucepan with 1" of water and bring to a boil.
- In a bowl that fits over the saucepan, place the remainder of the chopped dark chocolate. Place the bowl over the boiling water and stir constantly until melted.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the treats and spread into an even layer. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the top with the remaining graham cracker crumbs and flaky salt. Let rest until chocolate has hardened.
- Cut the treats into 48 portions and serve.
