One of my favorite places in New Orleans is Napoleon House, an ancient, perfectly weathered bar in the middle of the French Quarter, and my favorite cocktail to drink there is a Pimm's Cup. The perfect start to a day of drinking and exploring the city. This is a more adventurous take on the classic, with Campari + Pineapple nicely marrying with the Pimm's, originally created for The Counting Room in 2012. Proceeds from collecting this recipe will be donated to City Harvest.

You Need

  • 1.25 oz Pimm's
  • 1.25 oz Campari
  • 0.75 oz Lemon Juice
  • 0.50 oz Pineapple Syrup
  • Orange slice, for garnish

  • Pineapple Syrup

    • 1 cup pineapple chunks
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 3/4 cup water

    • How To

    1. Build in mixing tin with ice
    2. Shake and strain into a Collins glass filled with ice
    3. Top with soda, and garnish with orange slice

      4. Pineapple Syrup

      1. Combine pineapple, sugar and water in vitamix
      2. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes
      3. Strain well
