Take a dip into cranberry bliss! Inspired by Starbucks’ seasonal holiday bar, this dipssert is a balance of sweet and tart. It also has a secret: It can be breakfast, too! With a base of protein-packed cottage cheese (blended so it has a smooth texture), it’s a great way to start your day. You can opt to add fewer white chocolate chips to bring it from the sweet side to the sunshine, or even mix in some granola as a layered parfait. Trader Joe’s cranberry orange relish is my go-to for a citrus kick, but any non-jellied cranberry sauce will do.
This is based on the Peaches ‘n’ Cream Protein Dip from my cookbook, BIG DIP ENERGY, and there are many dipferent fruits you can use to make this dip, so have fun experimenting and forking!

How To
- In a blender or food processor, combine the cottage cheese, cranberry sauce, and sweetened condensed milk. Blend until smooth.
- Add the ginger, powdered sugar (start with a little then taste for sweetness as you go), and vanilla, and then blend again until smooth.
- Transfer the creamy cranberry base to a large mixing bowl and gently stir in the Cool Whip so it does not deflate. Add more powdered sugar if needed and then stir in Craisins and white chocolate, reserving a little for garnish.
- Serve with assorted dippers. The dip will keep in the fridge in an airtight container for up to a week.
