My grandma made clam dip as a Thanksgiving appetizer for as long as I can remember. This year, I made it for the first time for Friendsgiving. It’s perfect alongside a glass of champagne and potato chips.

You Need

  • 1 can minced clams
  • 1 large cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 1 minced small to medium shallot
  • 1/2 lemon, squeezed
  • 3 tablespoons creamed horseradish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • How To

    1. Drain clams, reserving liquid
    2. Add 3 tablespoons of liquid to cream cheese
    3. Beat until smooth
    4. Stir in remaining ingredients
    5. Cover and chill for at least two hours
    6. Serve with thick potato chips or crudités
